Preschool Storytime, March 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 at 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers ages 3 - 6 and an adult are invited for crafts, sensory building, literacy skills, science and technology exercises and more.
Love Your Library, Share Your Voice, March 3 from 6 - 7 p.m. Meet with IndyPL's CEO Jackie Nytes and share your thoughts about Library services in an informal setting. Discussion will focus on how well the Library has delivered in meeting the goals prescribed in its current strategic plan. Your feedback is important in shaping the Library's future direction.
Paws to Read, March 3 from 6 - 7 p.m. School-aged children who are beginning or reluctant readers are invited to read to a non-judgmental registered therapy dog who loves to listen to stories. It's a great way to improve a child's reading skills and self-confidence!
Mother Goose on the Loose, March 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 & 26 at 10:30 a.m. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers and an adult are invited for an early literacy program.
Career Center, March 5, 12, 19 & 26 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Adults needing help with creating a resume, searching for a job or career online, or filling out an online job application are invited to receive free one-on-one assistance. The Career Center is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
Preventing Food Waste, March 10 from 3 - 5 p.m. Join the Marion County Health Department nutrition services staff to learn how to reduce food waste at home. Learn some delicious recipes and food scrapping techniques during this program designed to save money and the environment.
