BRHS Homecoming Parade returned to the Village streets
posted: Oct. 18, 2019
It was a warm October 5th when the Broad Ripple High School Alumni Association put on a Homecoming Parade in the Village, just like old times. The parade and gathering in the school parking lot afterwards, gathered past students from many years.
For the first time, possibly since 1955 (see photo below), the BRHS Homecoming Parade marched UP Carrollton Avenue, the wrong way today.
Back in 1955 the stores were Mayme Sheffield Corsets, Marott's Shoes, and Mark's Furniture. Today: Raymond James, JW Salon, and Hubbard & Cravens Coffee Co.
