The first meeting for the Broad Ripple Walk of Fame was held at Flanner Buchanan, 1305 Broad Ripple Avenue [H10 on map], on December 4, 2018. The idea for a BRHS Walk of Fame came from the planning process for a new RiverWalk that will strengthen the connection between the Village and Broad Ripple Park. This is directly across the street from the Broad Ripple High School building. A group of business owners and community leaders formed a task force last year to get this project completed. The task force believes that recognizing the great alumni of Broad Ripple High School is an important step in getting the RiverWalk built.
