Frog's Random Rippling - Dr. Robert D. Lucus retires
posted: Nov. 09, 2018
On August 8th, 1969, a young Dentist came to Broad Ripple and opened his practice at 6211 North College Ave. Over the years Dr. Robert D. Lucus would become a Broad Ripple icon. I have had the pleasure of being one of his many patients. "Dr. Bob", as he is affectionately known by all, has decided that it is time to retire in the beginning of his 50th year here. I for one, as I'm sure one of many, will miss him and his smiling face. However, when I went to his office one last time to tell him goodbye, he said, and I quote, "I'll still see you around, I just won't have my fingers in your mouth." Good luck Bob, my friend, enjoy traveling, drop us a post card from time to time. We'll see you in the Village.
