Poetic Thoughts - Humility - by C.W. Pruitt II
posted: Oct. 26, 2018
A lot of people I meet say that they are atheists or agnostics. To these individuals, I always ask three questions:
1) Do you believe in Love?
2) Do you believe that Love is an energy?
3) Do you believe that that energy has a source?
If they answer yes to all three questions, I do not consider that person an atheist or agnostic, but a person with undefined religious faith. This poem is for those people:
Humility
is never obtained.
It involves
twining twining
and retwining
to the Source
of all that is.
Whether you call
the Source
God
Jehovah
Great Spirit
Higher Power
or
Allah
does not matter.
What matters is
soaking up the
essence
of the Source.
And that essence
is
Love.
