There were only two items on the agenda at the August 28, 2018, public meeting of the Broad Ripple Village Association's (BRVA) Land Use and Development committee (see in bold below). There were approximately 12 in attendance.

This petition is to allow a salon to move into a residence at 6173 N. College Avenue, two doors down from the SE corner of 62nd and College, across the street from Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist. There are three parking spots in the rear. Employees would likely park on the street. The spa is expected to open sometime in the next year.

The Metropolitan Development Staff recommends approval. The BRVA committee also voted to support this petition.

This was for information only, describing the move of the BRVA office from the 6300 block of Guilford to 818 Broad Ripple Avenue. Some readers may remember this as the temporary home for the Indy Super Bowl information a few years back.

The next public meeting of the BRVA Land Use and Development committee is scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, starting at 6pm in the basement of Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1660 Kessler Boulevard.
