Season Less Whites
For some, Labor Day means the unofficial end of summer and for those who only drink white wine during the warm months of the year, time to move on to the reds. Before you do that, give a few of these unique whites a chance. They are affordable, refreshing and delicious enough to make you think about becoming an all season white wine fan.

Saint Clair Family Estates, Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand - 2017. You want to drink Sauvignon Blanc as young as possible, and even though this bottle is a few seasons old (harvest down under is in February and March), its zippy tangy FULL ON flavor rush of passion fruit, white grapefruit and lemongrass tastes just as fresh and new as the day this bottle was capped.
Dry Creek Vineyards, Fume Blanc, Sonoma County - 2017 - Winery founder Davide Stare took a risk thirty years ago and labeled his flagship white wine, Fume Blanc. The term comes from the style the sauvignon grape is most commonly made in the Loire Valley of France. It was a hit then and continues to be decades later. Enjoy soft hints of citrus and a lush clean mineral finish.
Pieropan, Soave Classico, Italy - Rich, creamy flavors of stone fruit and almond. In need of an elegant unusual dry white? This is your bottle.
