Poetic Thoughts - Nod to Camus - by C.W. Pruitt II
posted: Sept. 14, 2018
When I was in graduate school at Ball State, I began reading books by French atheist philosopher Albert Camus. Although I am now religious, I still enjoy reading and discussing the existentialist who had such a large impact on 60's activists in America.
I often recommend "Myth De Sisyphus" to my atheist friends who are interested in raising their vibe. Here is a poem about that book:
Nod to Camus
The Joy Must Be
In The Climb
Up The Mountain
And In The Descent
Down The Mountain
As Well
Hoping To Perch
Ourselves
Forever on the Peak
Would be to
Show Ingratitude
To The Valley
