2018 Indiana State Fair - Three generations at the Johnson cabin
posted: Aug. 31, 2018
In the early 1800s, John and Sarah Johnson owned a farm located on the banks of Fall Creek. That farm is now the site of the Indiana State Fairgrounds. A full-sized replica of their cabin home is on display in the Pioneer Village building at the Fairgrounds.
This year at the Fair, four members of the Johnson family were seen visiting the cabin. They the Great-Great-Great-Great granddaughter, Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Granddaughter, and two Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great grandchildren of John and Sarah Johnson.
So, nearly 200 years later, four generations of this branch of John and Sarah Johnson's family still live in Indianapolis and still spend time in the Johnson cabin.
