Crab General opened recently at 921 Broad Ripple Avenue [H5 on map]. Crab General is a Japanese Shabu Shabu / Louisiana Seafood Boil restaurant.

We don't normally go into more detail with new restaurant Random Ripplings, but some of our readers may not be familiar with Shabu Shabu. While working for RCA, your editor made several trips to Japan and enjoyed this style of dining.
