This ad for the Tin Star Jail, 1904 Broad Ripple Avenue [HH30 on map], appeared in the Broad Ripple High School Riparian yearbook in 1975. I picked this one because a reader wrote in asking for a picture of the old restaurant. The Tin Star specialized in roast beef sandwiches. In this ad, BRHS students Sally Freihofer and Carolyn Kreutzfeld are in one of the jail cells. This location has since been Pizza King, BBQ Heaven, Red Eye Cafe, and is now Boogie Burger.
