Poetic Thoughts - Euchre - by C.W. Pruitt II

Euchre
Euchre is the Great Indiana Card Game. (I hear that it is big in Michigan, too.) This card game has so many moments wrapped up in it, that it remains for me one of life's great pleasures.
I learned Euchre during my first semester at Ball State. (My Freshman Year!)
I was the slowest learner of Euchre that I have ever seen. For that reason it made it hard on my partner for that whole semester. If you had me as a partner, it was almost like guaranteeing yourself a loss. But my friends were very patient with me and had kinda like come to the notion that I would always suck at Euchre.
But during my second semester at BSU I began becoming much more fluent in the playing of the card game Euchre. I became a strong Euchre partner.
I don't mean to scare anyone from Euchre because it was so hard for me to learn. Euchre is an easy card game to learn. It is a very social game because it is easy to play.
This completes my advertisement for Euchre. Oh, and I'd like to dedicate this advertisement to Kyle Andrews (my All-Time Great Euchre Partner)!
