The Gazette found Erica Parker working on a mural at Broad Ripple Avenue and Carrollton. Erica said, "My partner, Rafael Caro, and I approached the building owner about the wall space between George's Tacos and the Egyptian Hookah Bar. Our design is called "Astro". It features a Labrador pup, some Indiana pines, and other abstract designs. We are using aerosol and hand-brushed paint. This mural is kicking off our new company, Blend Murals + Design. We are a small collective of Indy artists who hope to use their creativity to rejuvenate public spaces; whether it is a wall, storefront, or a sidewalk chalkboard."
