Linear Bocce Tournament 2017

The 5th Linear Bocce Tournament held in Indy and the second World Championship played out along the alleys from 42nd Street, north, between Broadway and Park on May 6. Play progressed north until there was one remaining player. The 2017 winner - Bond Sando.
The 2017 tournament raised $1,450 for a new park in Fountain Square called The Idle. The sport was invented by IndyStar writer and playist Will Higgins (below, in the middle of the pack wearing sunglasses) in 2014. He continues to serve as commissioner of the governing body.
