PINK POWER
Who would have ever thought the color pink could be so popular as a sign of power and choice. Whether it's on a cat-eared cap, a ribbon or in a bottle as in rose style wines.
Odila Galer-Nolen is Assistant VP of Frederick Wildman Wines, one of the country's most respected importers of unique wines from around the world. "With rose wines you have different taste profiles-you have the very light Cotes du Provence style wines you also have the heartier reds darker in color have more of that saignon feeling. They go with all types of food and can be drunk year round." Rose wines offer endless choices. Some are sweet, some are dry. Some have bubbles, some do not. You can spend five bucks or fifty bucks and still enjoy a solid glass of crisp, refreshing wine.

The Hecht Bannier Cotes de Provence Rose is a stunner both in the bottle and the glass. This vibrant blend of Grenache, cinsault, and Syrah offers a floral nose and crisp dry notes of tangerine and golden delicious apple. The cork is made from glass and provides a snug cap for any wine bottle. Consider it a two for one deal, great wine to drink now and an attractive cork to use again later. Take a bottle to a super bowl party or share with your Valentine. Here's a timely toast from 20th century wine writer Andre Simon, "Wine is a friend, wine is a joy; and, wine is the birthright of us all."
