For The Poets
This poem is for the poets. Please forgive my earthy and incorrect English.

We Poets

We ain't no
basketball stars.
We ain't no
baseball stars.
We ain't no
rock stars.

We poets.

We slip between
the cracks
of society
and acknowledgment.
We nestle into
the soil in
the cracks.

We poets
grow our
dandelions there.
