Last night, I happened to be at Brics in Broad Ripple when this event when down. I'm a videographer and photographer so I also happened to have my equipment in my car.

It ended up being nothing like I imagined. It started slow, but as time went on, Mr. Blair created rhymes off the cuff dealing with topics that people yelled out. At first, they were jokes and silly things, but the topics started to get more serious and eventually people were even asking about their fears. By the middle of the event, adults were creating songs and writing poems, pouring their hearts out and bearing their souls in front of complete strangers, and since fears are universal it was collectively cathartic. I think we were all grateful we were there that night.
