The brush was recently removed from the south bank of the canal between Westfield and Guilford.

TThe Broad Ripple Village Association stated that, "The BRVA requested Citizens Energy Group routinely maintain the banks of the Central Canal in Broad Ripple Village. This meant the removal of invasive plants along the south bank between the Rainbow bridge and Monon Trail."
