Take the Fair Train to explore Fishers
Don't forget to take the Fair Train to Fishers from the State Fair.
You can ride your bike to the Fair, park at the Pedal n Park, and then enjoy the Fair Train. Here is the schedule:
Departing Fishers Station - 8:45am, 10:15, 11:45, 1:30, 3, 4:30, 6, 7:45, and 9:15pm.
Departing Fairgrounds (adjacent to Gate 6) - 9:30, 11, 12:30pm, 2:15, 3:45, 5:15, 6:45, 8:30, and 10:15pm.
• Dates: Aug 7-23, 2015
• Price: Discount days are: Mon., Wed. and Thu. - Adults $12 and Children $8. Tue., Fri., Sat. and Sun. - Adults $13 and Children $9 Cash and Credit Cards accepted; sorry NO AMEX.
• Departure from Indiana State Fair located across Fall Creek Parkway from Gate 6.
• All tickets are round trip (no one ways, unless you can buddy up with another one way on the same trip).
• Train runs rain or shine
• Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to your train.
• Stay on the train for a 90 minute round trip or get off in Fishers and explore the shops and eateries within walking distance of the train station. Prices are the same as above.

Broad Ripple Park Fall Classes : Barre to Zumba
Belly dancing, ballet barre, Zumba, aeorobics, yoga and more are among the fall classes offered at Broad Ripple Park this fall. Registration is now open.

Art Center Fall Classes Scheduled
Fall classes start August 24, 2015, at the Indianapolis Art Center. There are new first-timer classes for those who want an intro. This includes intro to ceramics, wheel throwing, graphic design, sewing, oil painting, and more.

More Mexican Food in the Ripple
The Taverna Restaurant on Broad Ripple Avenue west of the Village is re-opening as a Mexican restaurant.

No WARM Fest this year
Broad Ripple Park reports there won't be a WARM Fest this Labor Day weekend. The music festival ran the last two years. It is apparently being re-named and may continue in 2016 according to Phil Trevobic of BR Park.

While Jordan Y's pool is for members, day passes are available for purchase. The Jordan Y pool is open until Labor Day.
