D. DelReverda-Jennings is the banner artist in this issue. Visually D. DelReverda-Jennings, is noted for a broad range of work inclusive of sculpture, installation, painting, mixed-media, and is also known for her interdisciplinary role in the art world as a journalist, arts editor, an award winning published author and poet. She is the Creator, Founder and Independent Curator of "FLAVA FRESH !," an Indianapolis-based, annual juried, multiple art exhibition presentation series. 2015 marks the series sixteenth year as a one of a kind art showcase in Indiana, with the seven month long venue having received several honors and awards. The versatile creative also works as an arts administrator/facilitator, free-lances in a number of arts disciplines throughout the Midwest and has been involved in grass roots arts efforts, the non-for-profit sector and community service in the region for decades.

Primarily self-taught, D. DelReverda-Jennings, an award winning interdisciplinary artist utilizes an unlimited palette, media and materials while working from a diverse repertoire, using a multi-dimensional approach in creating striking artworks in series. She is influenced by Women's social issues; belonging, colorism, identity nuances, stereotypical assumptions, indigenous wisdom's-folklore, Goddess Persona, ritual, myth, magic, ceremony, contemporary culture, nature, and connective ancestral and spiritual memory in the context of Afro-Latin Diasporic cultures and complexities of the divine feminine. DelReverda-Jennings' creates fine artwork inclusive of extremely detailed and textural handworked applications, and complex organic surface treatments, which result in ethereal works evocative of ancient entities that make her signature sculptural figurative pieces distinct. She fashions vibrant, compelling 2-dimensional narrative paintings inspired by real life. This provocative work visually reflects and celebrates her concept of the sacred and 'Divine Feminine' depicting females of color who are in a state of self-discovery, empowerment, insight and affirmation, while exploring the complexities of bi-racial/multi ethnic/multiracial-cultural identity, dual or multiple ethnic heritage and referencing from the spiritual and religious histories that have aesthetic traditions based in the African Diaspora.
