Pictured here: Fran Fickle and Marianne Beck, Broad Ripple Kiwanis Club (BRKC) volunteers at Eliza Blaker School 55, 1349 E. 54th Street [OO26 on map], presenting a color laser printer, toner, and paper to Chrissy Phillips and James Hartshorn, teachers at the school. BRKC provided the printer and funding for supplies so the school could participate in the science fair. The club also worked with the students in developing their projects, and provided judges for the competition. This is an example of BRKC outreach efforts to support STEM education at Midtown IPS schools.
