Evoke Arts and Media held a special program at Broad Ripple United Methodist Church, 6185 Guilford Avenue [J5 on map], on February 13, 2015, the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Dresden, Germany during WWII. Kurt Vonnegut, who grew up in Indianapolis, wrote Slaughterhouse-five after being a prisoner of war in Dresden.
At this event there were readings from Slaughterhouse-five, several artists creating art throughout the evening, and a performance by Kilgore Trout (below).
