The banner artist for this issue is Julie Young. "I have been actively creating for as long as I can remember. I started drawing at a very young age, and started painting when I was five. Art has always been a big part of my life, and I couldn't imagine my life any differently. Art used to be something I did for myself: entertainment on rainy days, doodling on school papers to stay awake, painting out my feelings, escaping from my day, just getting ideas out, or creating fun characters and fantasy worlds that make the real world more fun.
After years of using art as a form of self expression and a form of entertainment, I have chosen to let my artwork act as a tool to get messages out to others; messages spreading happiness, fun, love and light all with the intention of bringing positivity into the world. My artwork is full of bright colors, whimsical characters, surreal worlds, and lots of small detail to look for, providing a fun entertaining experience for the viewer. "
