Letters From Readers - 52nd and Winthrop?

Hi -
I recently moved to the area and have been wondering about this structure near 52nd and Winthrop. I've noticed in the Gazette you have a lot of historic photos and wanted to know if you knew anything about this building.
It's a older (maybe 19th century?) wooden structure that looks industrial and vaguely Germanic in design.

- 1928 North Side Lumber Co.
- 1937 Willis & Co Foods
- 1940 Herman Kapherr Condiments
