Random Rippling - Archery tournament
posted: Feb. 06, 2015
Nearly 300 Indianapolis Public Schools students took part in a state-qualifying archery tournament recently at BRMHS. IPS and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources have teamed up to bring the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) to the state's largest school district for the third year in a row. Indiana NASP is designed to teach International-style target archery in physical education classes in grades 4-12. Core content covers archery history, safety, technique, equipment, mental concentration, core-strengthening physical fitness and self-improvement.
