On December 9th, 2014, the BRMHS Band Department organized an excursion for more than a dozen students who play Brass instruments to attend a benefit concert performance by members (and friends) of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Brass section on behalf of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra. Violinist Alexis Bottoms, BRHS Alumnus (Class of 2005) and MYO Instructor, was one of the featured performers.
