• The Dance Magnet is proud to present its annual production of The Nutcracker. This holiday story of one girl's journey into the Land of Sweets is brought to life by the talented dancers of BRMHS. This year's production offers a special treat - Ripple alum turned pro and star of Dance Kaleidoscope, Jill Godwin, will be performing as a guest artist. We are honored to have Ms. Godwin returning to BRMHS - an early Christmas present for us all. Performances will be on December 10th. The matinee will begin at 3pm and tickets are $3. The evening performance, featuring Ms. Godwin, begins at 7pm and tickets are $7. A cheap date AND a beautiful ballet - you can't beat that!
• Congratulations Jeremy Anderson, Danyelle Roseberry, and Ruby Smith, who finished in the top ten of the Indianapolis Public Library's "Slammin' Rhymes Challenge." Each will receive a $25 gift card and will perform his or her poems on stage at the Central Library tomorrow, November 15, at 2pm, during the Fall Fest. The students will meet Tamika Catchings and other city "celebrities" who participate in the Fest, which begins at noon. Admission is free and the Fest is for all ages!
