After 33 years and countless pours, Jock Maggard hung up his shakers & bottle openers on Saturday Night at the Vogue Nightclub. Family & friends joined in the farewell festivities - and more than a few zombies, as Jock's retirement coincided with the 2014 ZOMBIE PROM benefit for Gleaners Food Bank. Jock was my bar-tending mentor there for a couple of years in the early 80's when I worked as a ticket-taker and later, a bartender.
