• Congratulations Michaela McCulley and Bryan Thompson, winners of the Indianapolis NAACP ACT-SO competition! Michaela's painting submission and Bryan's contemporary instrumental music performance earned both students 95 ratings from the judges, and qualified for the National ACT-SO competition in Las Vegas, Nevada, in July of 2014. Congratulations Michaela and Bryan!

• Congratulations to the BRMHS Color Guard on a terrific Winter Guard season! After receiving a Bronze last year in its introductory season, the Guard was awarded a Silver rating this past weekend. Congratulations to the ladies of the BR Color Guard and their director, Laura Vesely. Well done!!! (A side note - our color guard is made up of 7th and 8th graders, with one senior! Another stepping stone to growing the overall band program!)
