• Freshman Jessica Halsmer won the City Swim Meet in the 100 backstroke event at the University of Indianapolis on Saturday, December 21st, 2013. Trailing a former club teammate for most of the race, Jessica finished strongly and won the event with a time of 1:02.51 just .38 ahead of her second place competitor. In her first event, Jessica narrowly finished second in the 200 Freestyle. Congratulations to Jessica and her coaches, Mrs. F. and Coach Scott, who are not coincidentally her grandmother and uncle. Jessica's goal is also to make it to the state meet in the same event in February and she very much appreciates the support of all her teammates.
