• On Saturday, October 5th, 2013, the Spirit of Broad Ripple Marching Band, including the Color Guard and Fire & Finesse, participated in the annual ISSMA Marching Band contest at Columbus East High School and came home with the GOLD! A gold award is the highest achievement possible. Congratulations! And congratulations to the Drum Line and Fire & Finesse, who participated in this year's Circle City Classic Parade! Well done!

• Broad Ripple Artists rocked the Inspired by Matisse contest over break. Congratulations to top twenty finalists Chrislee Pyles, Calia Johnson, Machaila Gray, and Dania Fernandez, and a very special congratulations to Priscilla Aleman who received a 2nd place overall award in the high school division. Well done all!!!!

• And your Rocket Volleyball team won the IPSAC tournament this past Saturday, beating Shortridge, Tech, and then Attucks in the final game. Ripple advanced through the tourney without losing a single set. Ladies, Coach K is very proud of all of you - and so are the rest of us! Congratulations, IPSAC Championship Volleyball team!
