On September 15, 2012, Erika Reimer and her mother, Jackie Elliott opened their very own boutique, Utterly Pink.

"We just did it. We started doing research and just jumped into it," said Reimer.
The unique name of the boutique stems from the two owners' favorite color. "We're both obsessed with pink and wanted to play off that," Reimer said.
The women's boutique features all different kinds of clothing and accessories, ranging from blouses to dresses to jewelry. "We're both into fashion and order a lot out of L.A because that is the Mecca of the fashion world," she said. "We get our fashions from the source."

The mother-daughter pair is even planning to attend a market this summer to bring in even more apparel for Utterly Pink. "It's a chance for us to go and see the fall and winter clothes firsthand. Touch them, try them on, and really see what we love and want to order in for Utterly Pink," Reimer said.
The pair tries to see what items are trending and try to pick what they personally like for their inventory.
Not only does Utterly Pink carry clothing from L.A., but also features a local Indianapolis jewelry designer, Concetto delle Rose. "She makes amazing pieces that are very unique and affordable," said Reimer. All of the Cocentto delle Rose handmade jewelry items are priced under $26.
Utterly Pink prides itself on their affordability, keeping their entire inventory under $50. "Our affordability makes us stand out," said Reimer. "We try to get what customers want to see in our store and what they would want to buy."
Utterly Pink is located at 839 E. Westfield Boulevard. "We love Broad Ripple and all the culture it has to offer. We have a saying that you just never know what you will see in Broad Ripple. That's the fun of it," said Reimer.
