Poetic Thoughts header

I have heard it said that some of Van Gogh's paintings are still wet underneath due to his heavy use of oils. In the poem below I attempt to compare Van Gogh's paintings to the versatility of the human condition.

Set Yet

Van Gogh's paintings haven't dried yet
It is like they haven't set yet
And so it is my best bet
That we are in flux to the end
And then beyond the sunset
For we have not set yet
