BRHS Alumni Association awards three Scholarships, activates new Website

The Broad Ripple High School Alumni Association has announced the awarding of three $1,000 scholarships for 2013. These include the Steven Jamison Memorial Scholarship, awarded to Aaron Dorsett; The BRHS Alumni Association Merit Scholarship awarded to Jesse Covarrubias; and the Class of 1955 Merit Scholarship, which was awarded to Dorothy Hayes.
The Alumni Association also announced the activation of a new Website, located at www.BRHSAlumni.org This new 27 page site spotlights the goals and operations of the Alumni Association; contains a BRHS Alumni Apparel Shop; listings for Favorite Teachers and Favorite Coaches; a history-oriented section that contains a roster of BRHS principals since 1886; a chronological record of BRHS history since 1886; 43 Yearbooks since 1937 that you can page through; historical photographs of people and buildings over the years; class reunion dates and past reunion reports and photographs; a roster of Distinguished Alumni awardees: and much more.
If you graduated from Broad Ripple High School, you are automatically a member of the Broad Ripple High School Alumni Association. As a result, the Association represents thousands of Broad Ripple High School graduates. Graduates and friends of Broad Ripple High School are invited to go to the BRHS Alumni Association Website, look at the activities of the Association, flip through the yearbooks, send in the names of your favorite teachers and coaches, and get involved with their active and meaningful support of this outstanding school and its students, staff, and graduates.
