• Thank you and congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Dr. Martin Luther King Art, Writing and Multi-Media contest. With over 300 entries, the decision of the judges was a difficult one. Congratulations to Broad Ripple's own Michaela A. McCully for finishing 2nd place in the competition. Well done, Michaela!

Congratulations to Jamonte Hampton, selected by the 2013 National Football Foundation Central Indiana Chapter as one of this year's Scholar Athlete Award winners. Jamonte will be a special guest on Saturday evening, February 23, 2013, at the 19th Annual National Football Foundation/College Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete Banquet, which will be held at the Indianapolis Colts Pavilion. Job well done, Jamonte!

• Congratulations to Kiara Patton. She is one of only three students who have been awarded the 2013 Living the Dream scholarship. She will be presented the scholarship at the Martin Luther King, Jr. luncheon and award ceremony on January 19th. Congratulations, Kiara! We're proud of you!
