Local wineries including Grateful Goat Vineyards, River City, Harmony, Rettig Hill, Turtle Run, Huber, Oliver, and Owen Valley will be part of the annual WFYI Indy Winefest on Saturday March 1st. What's up with Indiana wineries and the legislature this year? Experts say discussions about allowing wineries to wholesale its own wines without going thru a distributor and creating tax breaks and support to encourage more farmers to grow wine grapes in the state.
