• Congratulations to the following young people who were honored at the Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis 56th Annual Marion County High School Football Awards Program: Jamonte Hampton, Academic MVP and All City Running Back; Isaac Hampton, All City Defensive Back; and Camorrie Shittu, who was honored as the Broad Ripple Team MVP. Well done, gentlemen!

• Congratulations to Junior Jordan Clay. Jordan remains undefeated and finished with a perfect 5 - 0 record in the Ft Wayne Bishops Luers wrestling tournament last Saturday. Other Rocket wrestlers included Tyler Brown, Stacy Williams, Jerry Coe and Solomon Mayberry. Freshmen Savon Simpson and Quincy Fouse made their wrestling debut and finished 3 -2 and 2- 3 respectively. Congrats to all wrestlers for a great effort.

• Thank to the Spirit of Broad Ripple Marching Band for its great showing in the BRVA Lights Up Parade. Also spotted along the route were Key Clubbers passing out candy! Nice job, everyone!
