Indianapolis Jazz Fest at Opti-Park - by Bob Schmidt

Clarke and Duke headlined the Indy Jazz Fest on September 15th, 2012.
The Robert Glasper Experiment opened the Indy Jazz Fest. After their performance, fans clustered around Robert beside the stage to get photos, shake hands and generally share their appreciation.

Karl Denson performed on saxophone, flute, vocals, and a variety of instruments, leading Karl Denson's Tiny Universe in a rousing performance.

Stanley Clarke, shown here, played electric and acoustic bass, turning those instruments into a deep driving form of lead guitar. George Duke played a variety of keyboards. The crowd was wildly enthusiastic and the performers responded to their emotion.
