Midtown Indianapolis, Inc. is very pleased to announce the hiring of their first Executive Director.
The organization that has helped make Midtown neighborhoods Meridian-Kessler, Butler-Tarkington, Mapleton-Fall Creek, and Broad Ripple Village more walkable, bikeable and beautiful and whose mission is to promote local business, attractions, and economic development recently hired Michael McKillip to helm the ship.
A Midtown resident himself, McKillip brings 12 years of business ownership, real estate, nonprofit management and fundraising experience to the organization. Formerly the president and owner of Integrity Renovations, McKillip has volunteered as board president of the Maple Road Development Association and served in the past on the board of Mapleton-Fall Creek. He served as an ex-officio member of the Midtown, Inc. board and was on the steering committee of the Midtown Future Plan process.
The native of Jeffersonville, Indiana and graduate of Indiana University Southeast says of his new position, "Midtown is one of Indianapolis' most remarkable and diverse communities. I am excited to join the Midtown organization. I look forward to working with the stakeholders throughout Midtown and the city."
