BRVA 175th anniversary caption winners

There were over 40 entries to the caption contest. The BRVA 175th Anniversary Committee selected the following winning entries at the February 7, 2012, meeting. Prizes from Broad Ripple Merchants will be announced by the committee.
  • First place - "We came. We partied. We settled." -J. Mack Huston
  • Second place - "Settlers stage the first Flash Mob at the Old Settlers Meeting in Broad Ripple Park." -Kathy Kinghorn
  • Third Place - "We need to attract some young whippersnappers to this community. Maybe we could get a bar or two in Broad Ripple." -Bob Kerr
