posted: Dec. 16, 2011
A new mural has been painted on the Carrollton side of 'ZA, located at the corner of Carrollton and Broad Ripple Avenue. Artist Amy Rheinhardt's mural is part of the 46 for XLVI program, a partnership between the Arts Council of Indianapolis and the City of Indianapolis for the upcoming Super Bowl XLVI. This public art is described as "Celebrating Broad Ripple's rich musical past and present, Rheinhardt's mural depicts a modern day pied piper sweeping up the masses into his musical wake. The mural represents the spirit of Broad Ripple and the importance of the arts to community life in this vibrant cultural district."
