With issue #7's publication day falling right on April 1, 2011,, we had to produce a fake front page for it. This year we had two fake articles and three fake "In This Issue" teasers. One article was written by my son about the construction of a new jail for the Village at the old Tin Star restaurant. The construction there is actually for Boogie Burger which is moving to that location soon. The other story was suggested by a reader, Michael Dollinger, about stringing barbed wire all over the Village to solve the parking problems. We had a reader submit an entry to the Rene's Bakery Mistakes Can Be Sweet contest for the "misspelling" of Gazette as Gazelle! Thanks to all of you for your loyal readership.
