Random Rippling - Legion Post 3 92nd anniversary

Broad Ripple American Legion Post 3, located at 64th and College Avenue recently held an open house and a dinner to commemorate the 92nd birthday of the American Legion. This year's event focused on WWII.

An 1876 38 star ceremonial flag on display on the upper level at the Post. The 12 foot flag was used to cover the coffins of military personnel at Union Chapel Cemetery. The flag's restoration and preservation is under the care of Post member George Kerr.
