Poetic Thoughts header

The Dude (played by Jeff Bridges) in The Big Lebowski is an iconic character. The Dude's ingrained mellowness brings out the latent laziness in the viewer.
Below is a poem I wrote as a tribute to 'The Dude':

The Dude Abides

to stay
to remain
to abide
as the Dude did
is worth doing
and as The Dude is said
to have done

the coin has its 2 sides
and a wooden roller coaster
gives rough rides
but in the end
i take comfort
because "The Dude abides"
