IN MY BIN: Some potential potables for Thanksgiving.

2007 Arc, Spain-Silky smooth red blend of Carinena/Grenacha/Tempranillo offers spice, dark fruit and EZ drinking.
2009 J Lohr Valdigue, Monterrey, California-Valdigue is an off beat red grape that is very similar in style and taste to Gamay. This gem offers up smooth aromas and flavors of blackberry and raspberry. Dry but not astringent or tannic. YUM!
2009 Broadbent Vinho Verde, Portugal-Vinho Verde is a region in Portugal that produces light, cheery white wines. Such is the case here. Delightful soft aromas and flavors of lemon, lime and soft fizz.
2009 Barnard & Griffin Riesling, Columbia Valley, Washington-Elegant, off dry white with inviting aromas and flavors of white peach, apricot, honeysuckle. Consistently rates in the Wine Spectator 100 Top Wines.
2008 Dry Creek Vineyards, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, "Foggy Oaks" Chardonnay-Lush, dry, full bodied white with aromas of sandalwood and flavors of apple, pear and vanilla. Elegant!
Aphrodite, Greece-Silky dry white wine with nice minerality. One of the best sellers at the annual Greek Festival.
Winzerwald Schweizer Spice, Indiana-Some folks say it's just not Thanksgiving without a bottle of this local wine. Semi sweet white with aromas and flavors of clove, cinnamon and spice. Limited edition so when it's gone, it's gone.
