The 15th Annual Microbrewers Festival was held on Saturday, July 17, 2010. Crowds lined up for blocks to get in. Special VIP passes were sold, allowing superfans to get a jump on the crowds. The event expanded beyond Opti Park this year to include the west grounds of the Indianapolis Art Center. More than 60 microbreweries from Indiana and surrounding states set up in tents to serve 2-3 ounce samples of their hand-crafted brews. On the games side of the fest, the winners of the Keg Toss were Kurt Eckstein and Emily Heikes, who each won bikes from the Bike Line. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Optimist International, and the Indianapolis Art Center.
Brugge Brasserie offered Tripel de Ripple, Pooka, Erasmus IPA and Kountry Kitty. Broad Ripple Brewery poured ESB, IPA, ReplicAle Schwarzbier, Limping Mallard and Lawnmower Pale Ale.
