Improvements will be made to the bridge located on Westfield Boulevard between 65th Street and 71st Street this summer (2010). The project consists of bridge deck repair and overlay, guardrail and bridge railing replacement, as well as other related items. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm with potential Saturday work. There will be no holiday work. Work is expected to begin in early April and be completed by late July. During this time the bridge will be closed to through traffic for an estimated 45 calendar days. A detour route will be provided. Access to all businesses will be maintained but may be temporarily altered.
