There are many servants in our community that often go unacknowledged, so on March 21st, Broad Ripple UMC is hosting an event to honor these people. This event will be a supper to acknowledge all the sacrifices that the police and firefighters make in order for us to live in a safe community. Often times we walk through life and just take for granted that there is someone out there looking out for our safety, and this is just one simple way to say "thank you" to those brave men and women who serve our community 24/7, seven days a week.

There are so many people that give so much to our community, and oftentimes we never think of them unless we need them. Police and firefighters put their lives on the line every day so that we can go through our day not wondering "what if". The police motto is to "Serve and Protect", and they often do just that in ways we could never imagine.

"Thank You" to all those unsung heroes who work in the fire departments and police departments of our city. You are appreciated for all that you do to keep our communities safe.
