The Broad Ripple Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, located at 1305 Broad Ripple Avenue, held an open house to showcase their new event suite. After tours of the building and lunch, Bruce Buchanan presented a check for $500 to Indianapolis Fire Department assistant chief Dudley Taylor. This donation is to be added to the BRVA firehouse fund that will be used to apply for Historic Landmark status and for firehouse beautification.
