Riviera Club Names Rhodehamel as GM

The Riviera Club, a Member-owned recreational and social club located on the north side of Indianapolis, announced the hiring of William A. Rhodehamel as its new General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. He assumes management of the Club effective immediately.
"I am pleased and honored to join The Riviera Club as General Manager. It is a cultural jewel with a rich history and deep roots in our community. I look forward to working with the Members, Board and staff to increase Member satisfaction, enhance our programs and facilities, and help chart the future of the Club. Rivi is a great place with great people," Rhodehamel said.
Mr. Rhodehamel comes with a diverse background in small business and nonprofits. He was President of Hoosier Orchid Company on the northwest side of Indianapolis from 1989-2009, and has served on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the national American Orchid Society since 2000. He is a graduate of Park Tudor School and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and past service in Indianapolis includes Crown Hill Cemetery and the Friends of Holliday Park.
Anne White, President of the Club and Chair of the Board of Directors, stated, "We are very pleased that William has agreed to bring his leadership and expertise to the Riviera Club. The Board of Directors and staff look forward to working with him as we continue our mission of being one of the best destinations for fun and recreation on the north side of Indianapolis!"
Founded in 1933, The Riviera Club is a 501(c)7 not-for-profit Member-owned recreational and social club located on the north side of Indianapolis. Under its published Mission Statement, Membership is open to "people of good humor and high character. . . without regard to gender, religious or ethnic background." A variety of programs are available to Members including US Swimming-accredited swim teams, aquatic and fitness programs, tennis, days camps, dining and other activities, with some offerings open to the general public. The Riviera Club is owned by over 1500 families. Facilities feature four outdoor pools including an outdoor championship pool containing 1,290,000 million gallons of water, 14 outdoor tennis courts, two indoor pools, a fitness center, gymnasium, meeting rooms and a ballroom/dining room.
